The Birmingham, Michigan Alumnae Chapter is made up of over 100 women currently representing over 28 college chapters! Although we have diverse backgrounds, ages, interests, and college experiences, we share the common link that is Theta.

If you are a Theta alumna in the Detroit area, we invite you to join our chapter and enjoy the programs and events that bring together a diverse group of women. Our programs and events will allow you to meet other Thetas in the area, reunite and reminisce with college friends, exchange career or family experiences, and just enjoy the special bonds of Kappa Alpha Theta.

We offer a variety of interesting and enjoyable programs and events such as ice cream socials, luncheons, book reviews, crafts, and various demonstrations. In addition, we always celebrate Founders’ Day with an elegant dinner or luncheon. Our new fundraiser, Kites for a Cause, supports CASA, Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, and our local philanthropy Judson Center.

As a dues-paying member, you will be included in our annual membership directory and receive our newsletter, “Kite Tales,” which provides information on all of our programs and events.

We look forward to seeing you at our programs and events! If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

Loyally in Theta,
Debra Morsch Castle (1975 — Rho, University of Nebraska)
